The Thar Coal Mine is the largest coalfield discovered to date, with coal reserves reaching 175 billion tons, making it the seventh largest coalfield in the world. Located in the Thar Desert, the mine boasts year-round surface temperatures exceeding 600°C, soft road surfaces, and heavy dust, typical desert operating conditions.

Based on the characteristics of desert operating conditions, Tongli Heavy Industry, after a year of operating tests and product improvements, has developed a dedicated desert vehicle. These vehicles utilize high-temperature and radiation-resistant materials, a three-stage air intake filtration system, an optimized cooling system, desert tires with a special formula and pattern, a high-strength, wear-resistant cargo box, and specialized engines and axles. Since 2016, the company has supplied over 300 TL875 desert-specific off-highway wide-body vehicles to the Thar Coal Mine. Attendance Rate: Average vehicle attendance rate exceeds 95%.
