Zijin Mining Group has deployed 50 Tonly DTE145 electric mining trucks in Peru, marking the country’s first all-electric mining truck. These trucks, featuring battery-swapping technology, are the first of their kind used by Zijin globally.

The DTE145, developed in collaboration with State Power Investment Corporation, features a three-speed gearbox, an 800 kWh battery, and zero emissions, resulting in an annual reduction of over 250 tons of CO2 per truck. Tonly’s DTE145 is also the same model launched in collaboration with Rio Tinto in Mongolia.
